George was first introduced to the wonderful world of magic at an early age by his uncle, Jake Mullican, who is a minister of the gospel and an amateur magician. The interest in magic laid dormant for a number of years but resurfaced in the mid 1970’s when he began using magic tricks to reinforce crime prevention and safety education messages for schools and civic groups while he worked for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Sulphur Police Department. Along the way, George also performed illusions and magic tricks at church functions and birthday parties.
After meeting other magicians in the area and becoming involved with the Fellowship of Christian Magicians as well as the International Brotherhood of Magicians and its local chapter, I.B.M. Ring 268 – The Cajun Conjurors, George was able to enhance his magical skills and expand his show schedules. Over the last few years, George has developed a number of fun, educational, entertaining, family oriented magical programs and those that illustrate spiritual truths that he performs for area churches, schools, libraries, civic organizations, industry, and at private parties.
Having recently retired after over thirty-two years in law enforcement, George now devotes much of his time to his magic endeavors. George, his wife Kristi and daughter Morgan are actively involved in several ministries of their church, which include the puppet ministry, and they perform regularly in the church’s Puppet Theater.
George would be honored to provide the entertainment for YOUR next event. His wit, humor, and feats of prestidigitation are guaranteed to make it a memorable occasion for all who attend.
